The Fishing Net detail, What we do ;;
The fishing nets used by the local fishermen are carefully selected with a mesh size of 4.3–4.5 cm, designed to catch only medium-sized fish. Smaller fish and juvenile marine life are able to pass through the nets safely, allowing them to continue growing and reproducing naturally in the ecosystem.
This traditional knowledge reflects the community’s understanding of the sea and the importance of sustainable fishing practices. Rather than taking everything from the ocean, local fishermen work with respect for natural cycles, helping to protect marine biodiversity and ensure that future generations can continue to depend on the sea for their livelihood.
To help minimize environmental impact, we intentionally keep this experience small and do not increase tour sizes for higher fishing yields. Each trip is limited to a maximum of 4 guests or 1 boat per day, allowing the activity to remain respectful to both nature and the local fishing way of life.
Through this experience, visitors are invited to learn about the delicate balance between people and nature, and how mindful fishing practices can play an important role in marine conservation and sustainable coastal living.
